Jess Fleury Artist Bio

Jess is a mum, teacher, and artist who is known to dabble with almost any medium she can get her hands on! She enjoys creating artwork using vivid colours, capturing the energy, movement and an air of nostalgia in scenes featuring familiar locations and events. She visits Bon Echo every year with her family, and spends much of the summer enjoying the natural beauty and wonder of Ontario’s provincial parks. She finds inspiration in morning light breaking through the silhouette of trees, interesting rock formations, and the reflection of sunlight bouncing off the waterfront. Although she has created art for as long as she can remember, she has been formally displaying her work in the Ottawa area for about 10 years. Jess works out of a home studio packed to the brim with art supplies and in-progress paintings and surrounded by all the bustle of family life. She lives in Ottawa with her husband, two awesome boys, and miniature schnauzer, Groundskeeper Willie. If you’d like to see more of her artwork, checkout:
